On last week everyone caught a glimpse of the stunning Jennifer Hudson on the red carpet at the Grammy's looking totally amazing in an orange Atelier Versace gown. Most of us took notice of Jennifer's dramatic weight loss in the weight watchers commercial a few months back. I must admit, I was floored when seeing how much weight she lost and how good she looked. As months continued to pass it seems Jennifer continued to work on losing weight. When I saw pictures of Jennifer I immediately thought to myself that something about her just doesnt quite look right. As with America's next top model contestant Tocarra Jones, who also lost a dramatic amount of weight. I applaud people for wanting to be healthy and improve their physical appearances; however, being thin is not for everybody.
According to an article on http://www.dailymail.co.uk, Nutritionists said that the 29-year-old had gone too far with her weight-loss regime, while a consensus among an Allure magazine writer's friends found her to be 'too thin'.
But in an interview with CBS News, dietitian Marisa Sherry said: 'Jennifer Hudson's appearance left me wondering how far she has pushed the Weight Watchers diet.
Overweight: Miss Hudson in 2007, before she lost 80lb on a diet
Allure editorial assistant Alison Caporimo recalled comments made about the actress and singer at an Oscars party.
She told how one friend mused: 'I think she might be too thin, you know? I liked her better when she was in the middle: not overweight, but not too skinny.'
And Hollyscoop called Miss Hudson's weight-loss 'a disappearing act'.
Its article read: 'Jennifer Hudson has pulled a disappearing act on us. She was so svelte in her tangerine orange Versace dress at the Oscars, she nearly vanished when she turned to the side.'
But other commentators believe this all to be something of an overreaction.
Jezebel believes that Miss Hudson is as slim as she is in the WeightWatchers advertisements, but it was just more noticeable in the revealing designer dress.
'She wasn't alarmingly thin, especially when compared to other actresses,' the article read.
'Apparently there's a fine line between thin enough that you are no longer considered a failure at life (despite your Oscar and Grammy) and being so skinny, nutritionists must feign concern about your well-being in the press.'
What do you think about Jennifer's weight loss? What is too thin versus too thick?
